Exhibitions at Hangar: PBF01

Born in 1985 in Uruguay. Lives and works in Patagonia. Eliseo Miciu grew up in the hills of Córdoba, Argentina. At the age of 13, enthralled with the colors and landscapes of Patagonia, he began using photography for conveying life.

He worked for national and international companies for more than ten years in press and advertising photography. In 2007 he created his first book, Salta, Norte Argentino. National Geographic hired Eliseo Miciu as an exclusive photographer for National Geographic Traveler Argentina. He decided to make a personal choice and to devote himself exclusively to photography as fine art.

He received the Silver International Pano Awards in 2011 and 2012. Leurzer Archive has selected three works of Eliseo for the book of the 200 Best Photos of the world in 2009 and 2010. With his brother Isaías, Eliseo made the book SMA Aldea de Montaña and, in 2015, Polvaredal with Marcos Furer. Since then, he has done more than 30 exhibitions in Argentina, Uruguay, USA, and France. Today, he shows us his view of southern Patagonia in his latest book Tierra del Viento.
