Born in 1983 in Haarlem, Netherlands. Lives and works in Amsterdam. Fleur van Dodewaard studied Theatre at the University of Amsterdam, and Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. She made a photography program at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam.
She has shown her work in several solo and group exhibitions around the world: FOAM in Amsterdam; Post Gallery in Tokyo; Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome; Photographer’s Gallery in London and Australian Centre for Contemporay Art in Melbourne. Her work is also part of the Museum of Modern Art in Arnhem and the FOAM in Amsterdam. She had received grants from the Mondriaan Fund and the Amsterdam Fonds voor de Kunst (AFK).
