Born in 1987 in Barranquilla, Colombia. Lives and works in Colombia. Jorge Hortua is very fond of food and enjoying travelling, he began studying gastronomy.
He had various experiences as a chef in large hotels in South America. In 2009, he takes his most life-changing trip (Peru), during which he meets his wife. In 2013, he moves to Brussels where he lives for several years. His constant need to share his vision of the world instinctively pushes him towards photography. In 2016, he exhibits La Stroet at the Hangar and publishes the book of the same title. In 2017, he founds the collective “Raw7”.
