Hangar presents “Lost and Found”, a selection of contemporary artworks, through the eyes of two collectors. The exhibition is an opportunity for two passionate connoisseurs to create a dialogue with the art pieces they each have acquired over the years. Lost and Found is the place where lost property is kept.

“Is an art collection just an accumulation of lost and found articles? Does an artist lose an artwork when he sells it to a collector? Does a collector totally own a piece of art?”

About the collectors/
• Paris-based French scenarist and film director Edgard F. Grima has bought an artwork for the first time in 2014. His collection consists essentially of conceptual art and mostly questions creative process, language, and writing.
• Belgian art historian based in Brussels, Christophe Veys, teaches at ARTS2 Mons. For 26 years, the Veys-Verhaevert Collection is constructed around the idea of everyday life poetry.
