Born in 1988 in Laconia, United States. Lives and works in Brooklyn. Mark Dorf grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.A. in Photography and Sculpture. By employing a mix of photography and digital media, Mark Dorf’s work explores the post-analogue experience – society’s interactions with the digital world and its relationship to our natural origins.
Mark Dorf has exhibited internationally including at Galerie Philine Cremer in Dusseldorf; Postmasters Gallery in New York; Outlet Gallery in Brooklyn; The Lima Museum of Contemporary Art in Lima; Harbor Gallery in New York; and the SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah. His photographs are part of the Deutsche Bank, the Savannah College of Art and Design, and the Fidelity Investments collections.
