Mustapha Azeroual (FR/MA, 1979) lives and works in Tours (FR). He is a self-taught photographer with a scientific background. He is a permanent resident at La Capsule, the creative photography centre at Le Bourget and was resident during the Fresh Winds biennale (IS, 2015) and the “Supplementary Elements” art-science creation with the University of Strasbourg. He is also involved in developing the ELLIOS project, a study of light, in partnership with LESIA (Paris Observatory). In 2020, he won the Commande Photographique Nationale (FR) “Image 3.0”, under the auspices of the Culture Ministry and CNAP, in partnership with the Jeu de Paume museum.
