Born in 1973 in Tehran, Iran. Lives and works in Paris. Since 2013, Banisadr's work has been presented by Galerie 55Bellechasse in Paris and around the world.
She started with the controversial series Freud, a collective of self-portraits, reflects her background and life, focusing on the duality of East and West. She then realised Voiles aux Vents or Sexy window. One of her latest works, Mes Voyages or My Journey, is a superimposition of the Freud series that focuses on her journey through Europe and the USA.
