After a trip to Rwanda, the need to meet humans, and intimacy drove her to concentrate on portraiture and IBABA came into being.
Her first photographic works focus on the people and things that she encounters in her daily life, stolen moments, ‘insignificant trifles’. After a trip to Rwanda, the need to meet humans, and intimacy drove her to concentrate on portraiture and IBABA came into being. This series has been shown in many festivals in 2016 and 2017. Marie Moroni continues today to practise as a photographic auteur and reporter.
