Born in 1961 in Gurye Jeollanan-do, South Korea. Lives and works in South Korea. Graduated in Business administration, Giljung Yoon is an autodidact photographer.
His work has been exhibited widely throughout South Korea and was the subject of several solo exhibitions. Giljung’s work has also been exhibited internationally, in venues such as ARTSTAGE in Singapore, Galeria Saro Leon in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, among others. His bodies of work, StoneMan and TracesofMemory, were published by IAAN books in 2016 and 2015, respectively. In 2019, he was invited as a Featured Exhibitor at Head On Photo Festival in Sydney.
