Born in 1980 in Seoul, Korea. Lives and works in Seoul. In 2012, Hyongryol Bak graduated from the Korea National University of Arts. He participated in several collective exhibits such as Concretopia at the Seoul Museum of Photography in 2016, and personal exhibitions like Slow-Drawing at BMW Photo Space Busan organized by the GoEun Photography Museum in 2015.
In 2015 he won Gunghi Foundation’s DAUM award. His work is included in the collections of the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Gwacheon and the GoEun Photography Museum.
