“My photography is a reconstruction of varying installations and actual gures’ actions in the space of nature that is not yet embellished.”
“I have been interested in humanity’s violent nature. I can say that my photographs are a metaphor for humanity’s violent nature and an exploration of the difference between man and nature.
The Figure Project is an ongoing work that raises questions about human-centered formativeness, trying to construct nature agreeably. I consider taking photographs from a bird’s-eye view particularly important in my work. I want to attend photographic objects in this way and obscure their sizes. I look for places that are not adorned agreeably and then come up with ideas and set up plans suitable for these places. I execute installations and performances planned in collaboration with my colleagues and take photographs of them from a crane to get shots taken from a bird’s-eye view. Such work usually takes about 15-30 days from its planning to photograph.”
