Born in 1989, in Mombassa, Kenya. Lives and works between Ghent and Brussels. He has a degree in Audio-visual Arts from the School of Arts in Ghent. Since 2009, Pieter has been working as a photographer for Tibaldus, a theatre company founded by Timeau De Keyser, Simon De Winne, and Hans Mortelmans.
Between 2011 and 2014, he collaborates on actor Jan Steen’s doctoral project on the theme ‘Het zijn in het spelen’ (‘Being in the game’). In 2013: His short film Helena (2012) is selected for the 43rd Rotterdam International Film Festival and the Courtisane Festival in Ghent. He creates in 2016 in collaboration with Timeau De Keyser, the short film De Reconstructie, and in 2018 the Etangs Noirs, produced by Accattone Films.
